Vote In Vermilion, Ohio: 2012 Early Voting & Absentee Voting

Voters in Vermilion Ohio who have the desire to get an absentee voting ballot or to vote early in the general or primary election in 2012 can do so easily.  Simply stop by or call the Lorain County Board of Elections (in the City of Lorain), make sure that you are properly registered to vote, and you can vote early at their offices as much as 30 days before election day (they have machines set up there and are usually open extended hours during the final month).

If you want an absentee ballot mailed to your home in Vermilion, you will need to fill out a request form and send it to the BOE.  If everything is filled out properly, they will mail a ballot to you that you can fill out in your home.  There will be a lot of different issues and candidates on the ballot in 2012, including Lorain County Commissioner, U.S. Congress and Senate, and State Representative.
