Vote In Sheffield, Ohio: 2012 Early Voting & Absentee Voting
If You Live In Sheffield Village or Sheffield Township, Ohio, You Vote On Tuesday Nov. 6, 2012
Residents of Sheffield Village Ohio and Sheffield Township Ohio have the ability to vote in elections a full month before the general or primary election date (as do all residents of the State of Ohio). To do so, you can take one of two different methods. First, you have the ability to drive to the Board of Elections for Lorain County, show your identification (you must be a registered voter) and cast your ballot on one of the touch screen voting machines there. Secondly, if you wish to vote by mail, you will need to fill out an Lorain County absentee voting request form and send it back to the board of elections. They will, in turn, send you an absentee ballot, which you can fill out in the comfort of your Sheffield home and mail back to be tallied on election day.
