The Date Of The General Election In Elyria, Ohio For 2012 Is Tuesday, Nov. 6!

2012 is a very important election year for Lorain County, with candidates for commissioner and other county races on the ballot in addition to the presidential election.  Luckily, you don’t have to wait until the general or primary election dates to cast your  Elyria Ohio ballot.  If you want to order a mail-in absentee ballot, please contact the Lorain County Board of Elections, give them your voter registration information, and they will send you a ballot in the mail.

Additionally, you can vote early at the BOE as much as 30 days before election day (per Ohio state law).  The offices are usually open for extended hours to accommodate voters from Elyria and other communities who wish to vote early.
