Vote In Carlisle, Ohio: 2012 Early Voting & Absentee Voting
When is election day in Carlisle Township, Ohio? In 2012, it falls on Nov. 6!
As the years progress, more and more voters in the State of Ohio and across Lorain County are taking advantage of early and absentee voting privileges, and if you live in Carlisle Township then you can do the same very easily. Those of you who have transportation available can drive to the Board of Elections for Lorain County up to 30 days before a general election or primary election, where you can vote on one of the machines in their lobby after showing your identification. If you would rather not drive there, you can also just call them up on the phone and ask them to help you order an absentee ballot, which will be mailed to your home allowing you to vote there and mail it back in. Keep in mind, though, that whether you vote on one of the BOE machines or by mail, your actual vote won’t be counted until after the polls close on election night.
