State Representative Terry Boose represents citizens of Ohio’s 57th House District, consisting of parts of Lorain County, Seneca County and Huron County.  Representative Boose, a Republican, was elected to his second term as State Representative in 2010.  He is running for re-election to his seat in 2012.

The new 57th District includes parts of the Lorain County communities of Avon, North Ridgeville and Columbia Township (Columbia Station).

UPDATE: Candidates who have filed to run for Boose’s State Representative seat in 2012 include Democrats Barbara Gersna and Matthew Lark; and Libertarian Robert Sherwin.

Terry Boose also belongs to the Ohio County Commissioners Association, the Farm Bureau in Huron County, and the LEAD Alumni Association for The Ohio State University.  He attended Texas Tech University, where he received his master’s degree in business administration, and Bowling Green State University, where he received a degree in business management.

This is not the first elected office that Terry Boose has held.  He was also elected as fiscal officer in Norwalk Township, and was also elected as a County Commissioner in Huron County.  State Rep Terry Boose resides in Norwalk, Ohio with his wife.
