Seeing American Flags Throughout Amherst: Thank You!

Just a quick note of thanks to all of the patriotic Amherst residents out there!
A few weeks ago, I mailed an American flag flier to thousands of Amherst residents in response to a flag burning in our community. I asked residents to display the flag in their windows if they didn’t already have the Stars And Stripes flying in their yard.
I’ve been doing a lot of door-to-door campaigning throughout the city recently, and I’m amazed at how many of the American Flag fliers I’ve seen displayed in windows. Although I’ve only hit a small section of the city since sending out the mailers, I’ve noticed nearly a hundred of the fliers displayed in windows!
Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to display the flier in their windows, and to the many other Amherst residents who proudly display our country’s colors on their homes and in their yards. Our community’s patriotism is one of the things that makes this such a great place to live and raise a family!
