Richard S. Ramsey has filed to run for Lorain County Domestic Relations Court Judge in the March 2012 Republican primary election.  Ramsey faces no opposition in the GOP primary race.  You can learn more about Rich Ramsey at his campaign website, www.ramseyforjudge.com.

One the Democratic side, four candidates have filed to run for their party’s nomination for the domestic relations court judge seat.  They are Frank Janik, Paulette Lilly, Michael Tony and Mary Tobin.

UPDATE: The winner of the 2012 Democratic primary election for Lorain County Domestic Court Judge was Frank Janik.  Janik and Rich Ramsey will face each other in the general election on November 6, 2012.

There are other contested countywide races in Lorain County in 2012.  They include two county commissioner races (Democrat incumbent Lori Kokoski versus Republican challenger Mike Musto; Democrat incumbent Ted Kalo versus Republican challenger Phil Van Treuren) and the Lorain County Sheriff race (incumbent Democrat Sheriff Phil Stammitti versus Republican challenger AJ Torres).
