In Vermilion Ohio, Register To Vote In The 2012 General & Primary Elections
Registering to vote for residents of Vermilion isn’t difficult (and is easy for every resident of the State of Ohio, as well). Simply make a quick trip to your county’s Board of Elections. Vermilion is a special situation, since only a portion of the city is located in Lorain County. If you live in one of the portions of the City of Vermilion located in Lorain County, then you need to visit the Board of Elections in the City of Lorain to register to vote (this is one way to do it). You need to make sure that you are at least 18, that you have no felony convictions, and that you have legal identification and proof of residence in Vermilion. Show these documents to the person you speak to at the BOE, and they will help you register. Once you are legally registered to vote, you will be allowed to cast ballots (early, absentee or on election day) for candidates in partisan primaries (Democrat, Republican) and for candidates and issues on the general election ballot (in November).
