Taking your driver’s license and other forms of identification to the Lorain County Board of Elections lobby in the City of Lorain is as complicated as it gets if you are an Elyria Ohio resident who wants to register to vote in the upcoming 2012 general and primary elections.  Simply provide proof that you are a legal citizen, 18 years of age or older, and your current address, and you can become a registered voter (keep in mind that you do not choose whether you are classified as a Democrat, Republican or Independent when you register to vote).  The workers at the Lorain County BOE are also very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to providing information on candidates who will appear on the ballot, election issues, voting days and what district you are located in.  It’s as simple as that!
