Phil Van Treuren Releases New Commercial, “A Full-Time Commissioner”
2012 Lorain County Commissioner candidate Phil Van Treuren released a new web commercial today, entitled “A Full-Time Commissioner.”
In the video, Van Treuren talks about his intention to devote 100% of his time to fighting for Lorain County taxpayers.
“I think when the voters hire you for a public office that pays a full-time salary, that you should devote your full-time attention to the job,” Van Treuren says in the video. “If I am given the honor of being elected as Lorain County Commissioner, then I will be a full-time commissioner from day one. My one and only job will be working as hard as I can for the taxpayers who hired me.”
Van Teuren, who is running against incumbent Ted Kalo, vowed not to hold any other jobs, run any other companies, or take any other income as commissioner.
“My opponent is not a full-time commissioner,” Van Treuren says. “He owns a carpet business in the City of Lorain. I don’t doubt that he is dedicated to Lorain County, but our residents deserve a commissioner who gives his full attention to the job without any distractions.”
