Lorain County Government Salaries: Employee Pay Scales, Job Rates

How much do Lorain County, Ohio Government employees and elected officials make in taxpayer money per year?
Kudos to the Chronicle -Telegram newspaper for publishing a complete list of the 2011 salaries and wages for all Lorain County government employees today.
While most of the attention is usually focused on the salaries of the Lorain County Commissioners, you might be surprised to see that the commissioners aren’t even in the top 50 highest paid county workers.
I’m going to include the top 100 highest paid Lorain County government employees and elected officials in the list below. Remember: these salaries are paid for with your taxpayer dollars!
Many of the people on the list below do a great job and are paid to perform necessary functions of county government (ESPECIALLY our law enforcement personnel, who put their lives on the line for us every day) . . . but in light of the fact that Lorain County is facing a deficit of $10.5 million in 2013, it’s good to be familiar with where your money is actually going.
