Commissioner Kokoski is being challenged in the 2012 Democratic Primary for her seat by Rich Resendez and former Elyria mayor Bill Grace.

UPDATE: Two Republican candidates have filed to run for Kokoski’s seat in 2012.  They are Kipton Mayor Robert Meilander and Columbia Township Trustee Mike Musto.

UPDATE: Kokoski defeated her two Democratic challengers, Resendez and Grace, in the 2012 primary election.  She will now face Republican Mike Musto in the November 6, 2012 general election.

No Independent candidates have filed to run for Kokoski’s seat in 2012.
