Amherst Ohio Residents: Register To Vote In This Year’s Election!

If you want to have a voice in choosing the elected officials who will represent you in the City of Amherst’s government, then you need to be registered to vote in this year’s election! Election day in 2011 falls on November 8, and Ohio law states that you need to be registered to vote 30 days before the election.
If you aren’t yet registered to vote in Amherst, then doing so is quick and easy. Here’s a link to a Voter Registration Form from the Lorain County Board Of Elections. Just print it, fill it out and mail it to the Board of Elections at the following address:

It’s that simple! Remember, your voter registration form must be mailed and postmarked 30 days before the election in order for you to be registered and eligible to vote this year!
