Lorain County Voters Guide: 2012 General Election Races, Candidates

Voting Guide List of Republican, Democratic Candidates & Issues in the 2012 Lorain County General Election

lorain county voters guide 20122012 will be a very exciting general election year for residents of Lorain County, Ohio.  Although most attention will be on the presidential race between Democrat President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney, there are also many contested local races in which voters will choose their favorite candidates.  We’re publishing this Lorain County Voters Guide to help educate residents about the local candidates, their campaign races, and issues on the ballot.

NOTE: Local newspapers, such as the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram, the Lorain Morning Journal and the Cleveland Plain Dealer, also publish their own voters guide with endorsements every year.

General election day in Lorain County is Tuesday, November 6, 2012.  In the State of Ohio, residents are allowed to vote up to 35 days before the general election by early voting or by ordering an absentee ballot.  Voting machines will be set up at the Lorain County Board of Elections for registered voters who wish to vote early, and the BOE can also process your absentee ballot application and send you a ballot through the mail.
