2012 Lorain County Special Election: Avon & Avon Lake OH Ballot Issues
Avon and Avon Lake Ohio Special Election, 2012 Voting Locations
Although this won’t be applicable to most Lorain County residents, there is going to be a special election on August 6, 2012 in the cities of Avon and Avon Lake that will allow residents to vote on some fire, police and ambulance issues on the ballot.
Voters in the City of Avon will have two issues to vote on: a 0.5 mill fire protection renewal levy, and a 0.5 mill police renewal levy.
In Avon Lake, voters will cast ballots on a replacement 1.25 mills and an increase of .75 mills for ambulance or EMS services.

Polls will open at 6:30 a.m. at voting locations in Avon and Avon Lake Ohio. Regular absentee voting for this special election started on July 3, 2012.
